The Adenta Circuit Court has granted Salomey Awiti Baffoe bail in the sum of GH¢100,000, with two sureties. The sureties are required to be civil servants earning at least GH¢3,000 per month.

Salomey is facing allegations of being an accomplice to controversial Ghanaian TikToker Ghana Jollof. She was represented in court by the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, who welcomed the court’s decision to grant her bail.

The 40-year-old mother of three was arrested on September 13, 2026, at her residence in Hansua, near Techiman in the Bono East Region.

Her arrest attracted public attention after reports that three individuals who identified themselves as National Security operatives allegedly arrived at her home around 11:30 p.m. and took her away.

Reports indicated that her family initially struggled to establish her whereabouts. The Bono East Regional Police Command and regional National Security officials were also reportedly said to have had no record of the operation at the time.

The latest court decision means Salomey will remain out of custody while the case continues. The allegations against her are yet to be determined by the court.
