Bank of Ghana announces gold coin prices for August 28

The Bank of Ghana has announced its gold coin prices for Friday, August 28, 2026, with the value of the coins varying according to their weight.

The 0.25-ounce Ghana gold coin is priced at GH¢13,802.71, while the 0.50-ounce coin is valued at GH¢26,857.84.

The 1.00-ounce Ghana gold coin has been priced at GH¢53,013.65.

The Bank of Ghana’s pricing also indicates that the LBMA PM gold price, based on the previous day’s close, stood at US$4,568.95.

The Bloomberg REGN USDGHS rate for the previous day’s close was 11.2150, a figure used alongside the international gold price in determining the cedi-denominated gold coin prices.
