Bank of Ghana Publishes Daily Exchange Rates for October 8, 2026

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has published its daily exchange rates for Thursday, October 8, 2026, reflecting the average interbank rates used by commercial banks for transactions at the close of business on Wednesday, October 7.
According to the rates published by the central bank, the US dollar is being bought at GH¢11.8241 and sold at GH¢11.8359.
The British pound sterling is quoted at a buying rate of GH¢15.6184 and a selling rate of GH¢15.6352.
Meanwhile, the euro has a buying rate of GH¢13.2315, with the selling rate standing at GH¢13.2435.

The BoG noted that the figures represent average interbank rates used by commercial banks for transactions at the close of business on October 7.
