Bank of Ghana releases Daily Exchange Rates for Friday, October 9, 2026

The Bank of Ghana has released its daily exchange rates for Friday, October 9, 2026, providing indicative buying and selling rates for the US dollar, British pound and euro.

According to the published figures, the US dollar is trading at a buying rate of GH¢11.7741 and a selling rate of GH¢11.7859.

The British pound sterling is quoted at a buying rate of GH¢15.5501 and a selling rate of GH¢15.5668, while the euro is trading at GH¢13.1758 for buying and GH¢13.1889 for selling.

The rates represent average interbank rates used by commercial banks for transactions at the close of business on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

The published figures provide a reference for businesses, importers, exporters and individuals involved in foreign exchange transactions.

However, actual exchange rates offered by commercial banks and forex bureaus may differ depending on their pricing policies and prevailing market conditions.

The Bank of Ghana continues to publish daily exchange rate information to support transparency and provide the public with an indication of developments in the foreign exchange market.
