Bank of Ghana releases Daily Exchange Rates for Tuesday, September 22

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has published its daily exchange rates for Tuesday, September 22, 2026, showing the Ghana cedi’s indicative buying and selling rates against major international currencies.

According to the figures released by the central bank, the US dollar is quoted at GH¢11.5442 for buying and GH¢11.5558 for selling.

The British pound sterling is trading at GH¢15.4381 for buying and GH¢15.4547 for selling, while the euro is quoted at GH¢13.2379 for buying and GH¢13.2510 for selling.

The Bank of Ghana explained that the rates represent the average interbank rates used by commercial banks for transactions at the close of business on Friday, September 18, 2026.

The published rates serve as an important reference for foreign exchange transactions and provide an indication of the prevailing interbank market rates.

Customers should note that actual rates offered by individual banks, forex bureaux and other authorised dealers may differ depending on market conditions and applicable charges.
