Bank of Ghana releases September 1 gold coin prices

The Bank of Ghana has released its Ghana Gold Coin pricing for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, with prices varying according to the weight of each coin.

A 0.25-ounce Ghana Gold Coin is priced at GH¢13,826.97, while the 0.50-ounce coin is valued at GH¢26,905.15.

The 1.00-ounce Ghana Gold Coin is priced at GH¢53,107.18.

According to the Bank of Ghana’s pricing information, the figures are based on the previous day’s London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) PM price and the prevailing Bloomberg Ghana cedi-to-US dollar reference rate.

The LBMA PM price for the previous day’s close was US$4,562.75, while the Bloomberg REGN USDGHS rate stood at 11.2500.

The latest prices provide investors and members of the public with an official reference for the value of Ghana Gold Coins across the different available weights.
