Bukom Banku claims ownership of cocaine seized in France

Former Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku, has reportedly claimed ownership of a quantity of cocaine seized by authorities in France.

In a statement, Bukom Banku said the seized cocaine belongs to him and not to anyone in Ghana.

He further challenged authorities to come after him if they believe he is responsible for the seized consignment.

His comments have sparked attention, particularly because of the seriousness of drug trafficking allegations and the international nature of the seizure.

The circumstances surrounding the seizure, including how the drugs were transported and whether any individuals in Ghana are connected to the consignment, remain matters for law enforcement authorities to establish.

Bukom Banku’s statement should therefore be treated as a claim unless and until it is independently confirmed by the relevant authorities.
