The Ghana cedi recorded the following exchange rates against major international currencies on Friday, October 2, 2026.

The US dollar was buying at GH¢11.7091 and selling at GH¢11.7209. The British pound sterling was buying at GH¢15.4444 and selling at GH¢15.4598, while the euro was buying at GH¢13.1441 and selling at GH¢13.1550.

These are the average interbank rates used by commercial banks for transactions, based on the closing rates on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

The rates provide an indication of the value of the Ghana cedi against major international currencies and may influence the cost of imports, international payments, travel and other foreign-exchange transactions.
