Ghana Gold Coin Prices announced for Thursday, August 27, 2026

The Bank of Ghana has released the latest pricing for Ghana Gold Coins for Thursday, August 27, 2026, with prices varying according to the weight of each coin.

According to the Bank of Ghana, the 0.25-ounce gold coin is priced at GH¢13,944.27, while the 0.50-ounce coin is selling at GH¢27,142.02.

The 1.00-ounce Ghana Gold Coin is priced at GH¢53,582.91.

The Bank of Ghana’s pricing is based on prevailing international gold market conditions and the applicable exchange rate.

For the latest pricing, the Bank cited the LBMA PM gold price of US$4,631.50, representing the previous day’s close. The Bloomberg REGN USGHS exchange rate was also recorded at 11.1850.

The Ghana Gold Coin programme forms part of efforts to provide investment opportunities in gold while strengthening participation in the formal gold market.
