Ghana Strengthens Diplomatic Engagements in Dublin

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, MP, has engaged the Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps in Dublin and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Ireland, H.E. Dr. Lahcen Mahraoui.

The meeting, held on September 23, 2026, formed part of the Deputy Minister’s official working visit to Ireland ahead of the reopening of Ghana’s Mission in the country.

Discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, strengthening Ghana-Morocco diplomatic relations, and promoting greater cooperation among African diplomatic missions in Ireland.

The engagement reflects Ghana’s commitment to constructive dialogue and stronger diplomatic partnerships aimed at advancing shared interests and deepening international cooperation.
