Ghanaian Startups Showcase Technology Solutions To Reduce Food Waste And Improve Food Security

Young innovators and startups have showcased technology-based solutions aimed at improving food security and reducing post-harvest losses at the GDSS-PSInno AgriTech Challenge, according to a report published by the Ghana News Agency on September 29, 2026.

The initiative highlights the role that technology and entrepreneurship can play in addressing challenges across the agricultural sector. Post-harvest losses occur when food is damaged, spoiled or otherwise lost after harvesting and before it reaches consumers.
