The Government of Ghana has paid the third-quarter 2026 allocations in full to five statutory funds, supporting key sectors including education, healthcare, road maintenance and community development.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Finance, the funds that have received their payments are the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), Ghana Medical Trust Fund and Road Maintenance Trust Fund.

The payments are intended to support essential public services and development initiatives that directly affect the lives of Ghanaians across the country.

The DACF supports development projects at the local government level, while GETFund contributes to educational infrastructure and related needs. The NHIF helps finance healthcare services, and the Ghana Medical Trust Fund supports medical care. The Road Maintenance Trust Fund provides resources for maintaining the country’s road network.

The Ministry of Finance emphasised the importance of ensuring that public funds reach their intended destinations to sustain essential services and meet the needs of citizens.

The timely release of these allocations is expected to support ongoing development activities and strengthen the delivery of services in communities nationwide.
