History Shows NPP Is The Party That Encourages Insults And Misinformation – NDC Communicator

NDC Communication Team Member, Gausu Zamani, has waded into the ongoing Ghana Jollof controversy, stating that history proves that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the political party that thrives on insults and misinformation.

According to him, the NPP has no moral right to accuse others of propagating insults when the party itself has over the years built its communication around personal attacks, falsehood and character assassination.

Speaking in response to comments by NPP communicators defending Ghana Jollof, Mr. Zamani said the NDC remains a party that believes in issue-based politics and respect for institutions.

“Date back to history, a political party that encourages insult and misinformation is the NPP. They have always used their communicators and social media mercenaries to insult and spread lies about opponents,” Gausu Zamani stated.

He argued that the NPP’s attempt to politicize the arrest and investigation of Ghana Jollof, is hypocritical, especially when the same party remained silent on similar actions taken under its own administration.

Mr. Zamani emphasized that the current NDC administration led by President John Dramani Mahama will not condone insults, misinformation or defamation from any quarters, regardless of political affiliation.

He urged the Ghana Police Service and the CID to continue their work professionally without fear or favour, and allow the law to take its full course in the Ghana Jollof case.
