A delegation from Hyundai Motors Group has paid a courtesy call on the Chief Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Khadija Iddrisu, to explore potential areas of collaboration between Ghana and the South Korean automotive group.

The meeting took place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Accra. The delegation was led by Ghana’s Ambassador to the Republic of South Korea, H.E. Kojo Choi, and Hyundai Motors Group Vice President, Mr. Ilbum Kim.

Discussions focused on possible areas of cooperation, particularly in sports diplomacy and healthcare, as both sides explored opportunities for mutually beneficial initiatives.

The engagement forms part of efforts to strengthen relations between Ghana and South Korea through partnerships that promote cooperation and development across key sectors.

The proposed collaboration is expected to provide a platform for further engagement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Hyundai Motors Group in identifying initiatives that could support Ghana’s development priorities while deepening bilateral ties between the two countries.
