KiDi, King Promise And Medikal Lead Star-Studded Hitz-Joy Beach Rave

Ghanaian music stars KiDi, King Promise and Medikal were among the headline performers at the 2026 Hitz-Joy Beach Rave, which concluded on Saturday, October 31, at Rehab Beach Club in Labadi, Accra.

The event brought together music lovers for an afternoon and evening of live performances, DJ sessions and beachside entertainment. Organised by Hitz 103.9 FM and Joy 99.7 FM, both part of the Multimedia Group, the gathering featured 19 performers from Ghana’s entertainment industry.

King Promise entertained patrons with some of his popular songs, including Terminator, CCTV and Paris. His performance showcased the blend of Afrobeats, highlife and R&B that has helped establish his place in Ghana’s contemporary music scene.

KiDi also thrilled the audience with songs such as Touch It, Odo and Enjoyment, alongside selections from his 2026 album, Where Do We Go From Here. Medikal added his distinctive rap style to the event, giving fans another opportunity to enjoy live performances from one of Ghana’s prominent hip-hop acts.

Other performers included dancehall and reggae musician Ras Kuuku, rising singer Morgan Nero and music duo Lali X Lola. Their performances added variety to the programme, bringing different sounds and musical styles to the gathering.

The entertainment extended beyond the live performances, with DJs Merqury Quaye, Andy Dosty, DJ Raennie, DJ Fantastic and several others keeping patrons engaged throughout the event. Games and additional beach activities also contributed to the atmosphere.

The successful gathering highlighted the continued appeal of live music experiences that combine entertainment, social interaction and outdoor recreation. For the organisers, the event also provided an opportunity to connect with audiences outside their regular radio programming.
