LilWin Clarifies Viral Photos And Videos From A Journey To Africa

Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has responded to growing discussions surrounding photographs and videos emerging from his latest movie project, A Journey To Africa (Nzulezu).

The actor clarified that the photographs and videos circulating online should not be mistaken for actual scenes from the movie. According to LilWin, the content being shared was produced during the Nigerian actors’ visit to Ghana and forms part of the publicity strategy for the project.

His clarification follows reactions from some members of the public who questioned whether releasing behind-the-scenes material could reveal too much about the film before its official release.

LilWin pushed back against the criticism, explaining that the production team had not released scenes from the actual movie. He said the actors themselves had been sharing some of the content from their time in Ghana.

The project has attracted considerable attention because it brings together LilWin and a number of established Nigerian actors, including Kanayo O. Kanayo, Patience Ozokwor, Mike Ezuruonye, Zubby Michael and Destiny Etiko.

The movie is being filmed around Nzulezu, the historic settlement in Ghana’s Western Region, and represents another attempt by LilWin to build a production with appeal beyond Ghana.

With interest already growing around the cast and location, the clarification is likely to keep conversations around A Journey To Africa alive as production continues.
