Madina MP, Francis-Xavier Sosu collapses while speaking at GIMPA

The Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu, reportedly collapsed while speaking at an event at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in Accra on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

According to reports, the lawmaker was addressing attendees when he suddenly appeared to lose consciousness and collapsed. People at the venue reportedly moved quickly to assist him following the incident.

Details surrounding what may have caused the collapse remain unclear. His condition following the incident has also not yet been independently confirmed.
