Mahama holds bilateral talks with Suriname President at UNGA

President John Dramani Mahama has held bilateral talks with the President of Suriname, Dr Jennifer Geerlings-Simons, on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the two leaders to exchange views on matters of mutual interest and explore avenues for strengthening bilateral relations between Ghana and Suriname.

The discussions form part of President Mahama’s engagements with world leaders at the UN General Assembly, as Ghana continues to deepen diplomatic cooperation and build stronger partnerships with countries across the globe.

The meeting between the Ghanaian and Surinamese leaders underscores the shared interest in expanding areas of cooperation and fostering stronger ties between the two countries.
