President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating a favourable business environment to attract private investment and promote industrial growth in Ghana.
The President made the remarks during a working visit to the Bright International Industrial Zone, where he highlighted the importance of investment in driving economic development, expanding industries and creating employment opportunities.

Dr Mahama cited the US$2.62 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) recorded in 2025 as evidence of renewed investor confidence in Ghana’s economy.
He expressed optimism that the implementation of the government’s New Economy Policy would further strengthen the country’s investment prospects and encourage more businesses to establish and expand their operations in Ghana.

The President’s remarks underscore the government’s focus on attracting both local and foreign investors, supporting industrial development and creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

Increased investment is expected to contribute to job creation, boost local production and strengthen Ghana’s economic growth, provided the investments translate into productive business activities and sustainable employment.
