PAC To Report DACF Administrator To Chief Of Staff Over Failure To Appear Twice

The Public Accounts Committee has threatened to report the Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund to the Chief of Staff for failing to appear before the committee on two occasions.

The Committee is probing issues relating to the District Assemblies Common Fund Responsive Factor Grant projects across the country.

According to the PAC, the Administrator’s absence without reasonable justification after two invitations amounts to gross disrespect to Parliament and its oversight mandate.

It says the report to the Chief of Staff will seek appropriate sanctions to ensure compliance with parliamentary summons.
