The Ghana Police Service has declared 40-year-old Barbara Asantewaa Kodua, popularly associated with the social media identity “Ghana Jollof,” wanted in connection with an alleged case of inciting violence.
According to a wanted-person notice issued by the Police on Thursday, September 17, 2026, Barbara Asantewaa Kodua is female, fair-complexioned and was last seen at the Accra International Airport on August 4, 2022.
The Police said information available to the Service suggests that she may currently be hiding in the United Kingdom.
The Service has therefore appealed to members of the public who may have information about her whereabouts to assist the authorities in locating her.
Anyone with relevant information has been urged to report to the nearest police station or contact the Ghana Police Service on 0500100010.
The development comes amid heightened attention surrounding the anonymous “Ghana Jollof” social media account, which has attracted public attention for its political commentary and criticism of government figures.
Reports have also linked the ongoing investigation to a separate case involving a nurse, although the reported connection between the nurse and the account has been disputed by her family.
The Police have urged the public to cooperate with the Service by providing credible information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
