Roads Minister Orders Contractors To Speed Up Work For Public Use

Roads and Highways Minister, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has cautioned road contractors against deliberately prolonging projects until the expiration of their contractual periods.

Contractors who have the capacity to complete projects ahead of schedule are urged to accelerate work and hand over for public use.

He made the remarks while addressing concern over delays in the execution of road projects across the country, stressing that timely completion is critical to easing the burden on road users and facilitating economic activities.
